When a Close Does Not Go Through, You See It

A close on a cloud-connected MetaTrader account that is not confirmed now stays open in your dashboard, and you see an error or a notification.

The worst thing a copier can do with a close is say it happened when it did not. This release is about closes on accounts connected through the cloud, and about what you see when one does not go through.

Closes on cloud accounts

This covers accounts connected through the cloud. Self-hosted accounts were already closing normally. There is nothing to turn on.

When a close does not go through, TTMT no longer shows the trade as closed. It stays open in your dashboard and you are told the close was not confirmed:

  • If you pressed Close in Live View, you see an error straight away.
  • If a channel asked for the close, you get a Close failed notification.

If that happens, check your positions and press Close again.

Take-profit and stop-loss hits are handled by your broker as before.

The rest of the release

  • Explore warns about channels that sell account management.
  • Percentage risk per trade can go up to 100%.
  • Channel limits now follow your MetaTrader accounts.
  • Fixes for trade closes, self-hosted accounts, Live view and Risk Limits.
