The Kill Switch Tells You What Closed

After you press the kill switch, you see how many positions closed and how many orders were cancelled, and anything left open is listed with the reason.

You press a kill switch when something is going wrong and you want out. The next thing you need to know is whether you are out. From this release the kill switch tells you.

The kill switch reports what closed

After you press the kill switch, the result shows how many positions closed and how many orders were cancelled. Anything that could not be closed is listed by symbol with the reason, such as Market closed. You only see Trades Closed Successfully when everything was closed.

It works on every account, cloud or self-hosted.

How to use it

  • On a computer, open the positions menu in the dashboard header and choose Close All Positions.
  • On a phone, tap Close Active Trades in the header.

Then pick TTMT Trades Only or All Trades, and press Confirm Close. It acts on the account you have selected.

What it does not do

The kill switch does not pause trading, so new signals can still open trades. If the market is closed, nothing is retried later: press it again after the market reopens.

The rest of the release

  • Affiliate commission is 20% for 12 months.
  • Faster trade log and signal log.
  • Fixes for channels, trade closes and self-hosted accounts.
